Hi, everyone!
Yep, it's a full colour page. What you see here is an old favourite among typical cat games. My cat loved to play it, even if she didn't jump people. May she rest in peace! Also, you're witness to a very typical Northern German conversation mode, jocularly called in PLatt “Alleen in Sellschapp” - “Alone in company”. We're kind of notorious for it. It's a stereotype of course, but some times we love to just enjoy each other's company without much talking - it just isn't necessary. And if anyone feels like saying something, it's often teasing - but friendly teaaing not meant to hurt.
When tigers play, they do play a bit rough. However, you can always tell if they play - a tiger attacking for real wouldn't say “Grooff!” or anything, it'll just go straight to business.
I know for a fact - from playing with a young lion, a couple of years ago - that big cats nearly always have absolute control over how hard they bite. Somehow they know exactly how far they can go. This said, accidents may of course still happen just as often as they do in every wild game, but they're accidents. They know the difference, very well. And this is just what Tiger does - he gives Christian quite a start, but there won't even be a bruise.
Thanks for reading, and have a nice weekend!

Btw. Since I was asked on the Duck: this page is 100% handmade. There is no copy-and-paste work whatsoever, but I actually drew every single panel. This was not half as tedious as it sounds, as I used my homemade lightbox - just a wooden box with an acrylic glass cover, that contains a cheap bathroom lamp and is lined with aluminium foil on the inside. I don't need it very often, but when I do it has proved to be a most useful, if not indispensable device. Plus, that way it keeps up the homemade hand-drawn vibes that I think define my style somewhat, and it enables me to put in an endless amount of tiny variations on a spontaneous whim if I feel like it.

Nice one :)
And well trained tigers - ours do not know the difference. Hmmm maybe that's why we never play with them ^^
And I know that game, one of our cats loves to play that too.
