Hullo everyone, and Happy New Year!

I'm not just sorry, I'm sad. :( There was me thinking I had finally time to draw something spectacular, perhaps even build some kind of buffer, but what did I produce in the end - bugger all! As I may have mentioned, the time between Christmas and New Year's Eve was filled up anyway. Additionally I'd caught the worst flu I'd had in years, as well as my entire family. We ended up celebrating the arrival of 2013 in front of the TV feeling sick. Now that I finally recovered, university, as usual, is trying to make me to cram two week's worth of work into one. As if I didn't have well-tried strategies of not letting them...

But the comic will continue. I've already got a number of half-finished pencil sketches lying around. There's a light at the end of the tunnel. As a matter of fact, these three looking over my shoulder are the ones that go least on my nerves.

It's usually hard to draw when you have an audience. :D
Glad you're all better too. That flu is nasty stuff.

Happy New Year!

I'm actually quite used to drawing under difficult conditions like dim light, an almost complete lack of oxygen, large noisy audiences, and a tight deadline. (I often do stuff like e.g. guestbook entries for my fraternity.* ) But everything has its limits! :explosion:

* German fraternities are quite different to the American ones, but certain aspects seem to be international. ;)

Lack of oxygen?? Are you high in the mountains or stuck with roommates that smoke a lot? o_o

I used to be stuck with people who are either highly allergic to fresh air or just don't know that windows can be opened from time to time. Smoking a lot actually helped, since it covered up the actual smell. However I don't live there any more, and I only draw my comic at home, so it doesn't really bother me too much any more.
